Due to all the encryption rules, there is no ssh on the US CD version or on ftp.suse.com. To get ssh, pgp, gpg and other encryption goodies you need to access the sec* packages on an international server. I quote from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/INDEX "Due to US crypto regulations, ftp.suse.com does not contain crypto-software (such as ssh). Crypto-software is available at ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ and on many mirrors (outside of the `Land of the Free') for all recent versions of SuSE Linux.
