Tell the originator to send you a copy in a vendor-neutral format, or alternatively, your fee for processing it will include be raised by the cost of a copy of MS Publisher. Additionally, point them to some open-source publishing software, such as LaTeX. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Erm, MS Publisher? Seriously, though I once liked that applicaiton, it is the most closed format around. Even different versions can't open each other. I'd suggest your sender resend as PDF or .doc, which can be export options. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Another option is to use the online conversion tools such as Zamzar http://www.zamzar.com/ C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Big difference. MS Project is a project tracking application used to create schedules, subordinate tasks and the like. MS Publisher is a page-layout application with a bunch of wizards to allow novice users such as myself the opportunity to create nice flyers/cards/posters. Yes, openproject does open MS Project files. I use it interchangeably with MS Project on an almost daily basis. Here's an old screenshot of OpenProject opening one of my staff member's many MS Project files... http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/2008/20080122_openproj.png -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
