Evolution Error: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat (II)
Hi, To give some further details, I remember someone told us about 16 rpm's, I've got only 13, as follows: bonobo-1.0.7-ximian.3.i386.rpm bonobo-conf-0.11-ximian.3.i386.rpm evolution-0.13-ximian.5.i386.rpm gal-0.11.2-ximian.2.i386.rpm gdk-pixbuf-0.11.0-ximian.5.i386.rpm gnome-print-0.25-ximian.7.i386.rpm gtkhtml-0.12.0-ximian.2.i386.rpm libbonobo-conf0-0.11-ximian.3.i386.rpm libgal11-0.11.2-ximian.2.i386.rpm libglade-0.16-ximian.3.i386.rpm libgnomeprint11-0.25-ximian.7.i386.rpm libgtkhtml15-0.12.0-ximian.2.i386.rpm mozilla-0.9.3-ximian.1.i386.rpm Anyone has got an idea which one could be missing? There is a faq on this on the ximian web site. ("Why can't I initialize the Evolution shell?) What worked for me was running oaf-slay from the command prompt. Anyone has got an idea which one could be missing? No complaints left about unsatisfied dependencies.
I had to install all of the following: 491 rpm -e --nodeps bonobo-devel 496 rpm -e --nodeps gnome-guile gnome-guile-devel 497 rpm -Uhv libgtkhtml15-0.12.0-ximian.2.i386.rpm gtkhtml-0.12.0-ximian.2.i386.rpm libgal11-0.11.2-ximian.2.i386.rpm bonobo-conf-0.11-ximian.3.i386.rpm bonobo-1.0.7-ximian.3.i386.rpm libbonobo-conf0-0.11-ximian.3.i386.rpm libgal11-0.11.2-ximian.2.i386.rpm libnss3-0.9.3-ximian.1.i386.rpm bonobo-devel-1.0.7-ximian.3.i386.rpm gnome-guile-0.20-ximian.3.i386.rpm gnome-guile-devel-0.20-ximian.3.i386.rpm And I had to upgrade mozilla... 498 rpm -ihv evolution-0.13-ximian.5.i386.rpm And it does indeed work for me, though I'd say it's it has better looks then functions, I sent three posts to the list last night and the last one didn't ever make it, even though it's in the "sent" folder. Also, I don't think there's enough new mail in it this evening, perhaps it is having problems checking my pop accounts. If you're bored, though, it might be worth it. Even more so if you're a "light" email user (unlike me, ~450 messages/day)
