[opensuse] OpenOffice.org 2.2
Hello, is there a SuSE rpm package for OpenOffice.org available? I cannot find one. There is an error int the OOo 2.1.14.package:
this chunk of code should be correct, but it doesn't work as expected.
oTables = myDocument.getTextTables() oTable = oTables(0) tableHeight = oTable.Rows.Count-1 tableWidth = oTable.Columns.Count
tableHeight equals 50, but tableWidth equals 0 (there are actually 9 columns...).
Thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There isn't.

The question is really whether that's a packaging bug or an upstream bug. Personally, I would say it's a bug in the sources, not a bug introduced by the packaging. Anyhow, and as Novell has got a few resources working on OpenOffice.org, make sure to file a bug [1]. [1] http://en.opensuse.org/Submit_a_Bug#Accessing_Bugzilla I couldn't find an existing bug requesting 2.2 packages, so I filed one for that: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=273077 cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGQrITr3NMWliFcXcRAnquAKCyAoaoYkiUqOr/HLl6ZM3A1g6+5wCbBShm Sk4sC1/ThMZiFUuOkbZiILY= =XKEE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks.
On a side note, the "official" Openoffice.org 2.2 rpms work faultlessly on my 32bit SuSE Linux 10.2. regards Eberhard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I just downloaded the latest 64 bit and noticed the splash screen is now green instead of the previous blue. Blue looks better. I guess I'd better file a bug report. ;-) -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Just what I needed, Thanx, I had the i586 version on last week; Writer often freezes the whole KDE on the x86_64 system. :-) Al -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The green one is for openSUSE-10.3. Unfortunately, we used splash screen where the exact OOo version was mentioned, so the older blue one is not longer usable. I would get another bugs reports with it, e.g. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=244914 I am sorry, I hope that you can live with the green one. I am getting to like it ;-) -- Best Regards, Petr Mladek software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: pmladek@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 952 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I bet Jakkub could whip up another blue one to match the rest of the theming. -JP -- JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> Novell, Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

i also like it, but think i can help: (yes i saw the smiley beneath your initial question ;-) ) give your konqui a URL of: /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/*.bmp and simply change the openintro_suse.bmp into the bmp of your choice kde-look.org offers a variety of Splash-Screens if you dont have the old one any more -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
