Hello, I'm trying to install 9.1 on a Dell PowerEdge 2850 with a PERC4e/Di controller. Apparently it needs the newer megaraid2 module. This module has been available in since at least 8.2. IN 8.2's manual installation's module list it lists both the megaraid and megaraid2 drivers, however 8.2 still doesn't work - presumably that's a PCI ID issue (hardware too new). On 9.1 there's only 1 module listed, and when you load it it says it's "megaraid-old". I looked on another 9.1 installation and there are 3 megaraid drivers under the kernel modules dir: /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.108-smp/kernel/drivers/scsi/megaraid-old.ko /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.108-smp/kernel/drivers/scsi/megaraid/megaraid_mm.ko /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.108-smp/kernel/drivers/scsi/megaraid/megaraid.ko It would seem like one of the last to might be the right ones, and looking under the sources it looks like the .c file for megaraid.ko is (version 2.20.*), but I can't figure out how to load it. I tried copying it to a floppy and telling the manual installer to load unknown modules from the floppy, but it only found megaraid_mm (I don't know for sure what that is) and it wouldn't load either. I've seen some posts indicating that other users have managed to find and use the megaraid2 driver - can anyone offer some advise on making this work?
