60 times "sr0: CDROM not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive.:
Am busy cleaning up my SuSE 8.2 system from unnecessary things. One of the things is the information that I find in dmesg. This info is shown for more than 60 times and I do not understand the source. sr0: CDROM not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive. My fstab reads as follows. To my understanding cdrom should not be addressed because of the noauto incursion. /dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder auto ro,noauto, user, exec 0 0 /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto, user, exec 0 0 /dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto, user, sync 0 0 /dev/sda1 /media/sda1 auto noauto, user, exec 0 0 Does somebody has an idea where the interest in disc in the drive comes from?
