Hi, Chromium version 11.0.665.0 installed from: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/11.3:/Contrib/standard/ is crashing. When running it from a terminal the following message is showed: unnamed app(8565) KMimeTypePrivate::ensureXmlDataLoaded: Missing <comment> field in "application/x-msdownload.xml" unnamed app(8565) KMimeTypePrivate::ensureXmlDataLoaded: Missing <comment> field in "text/x-component.xml" Segmentation fault I delete the chromium config directory (~/.config/chromium), but I have no success. There is some solution? Thanks -- José Thadeu Cavalcante -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I use the google yum repository it seems to work fine for me. Specifically http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64 That way you get the latest upgrades, without waiting for it to filter thru opensuse. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I had to make an assumption in the absence of precisely what the OP wanted. I assumed they wanted a working Chrome/Chromium browser. Chromium can refer to a Browser, or an OS. If you just want a Chromium based browser that works Google Chrome is far more stable. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
