Hi Erik, long time no hear from you. I use K3B to burn CDs in SuSE. Like it. Were you thinking more along the line of packet writing (using it sort of like a slow disk)? -- _____________________________________ John Andersen

Hi John. Yes its long time John, but I often see you here on SLE. I also use K3B for burning. I would more use the CD/RW media as a backup for files her from 9.1. Just as it can be done with W$ and just copying it to the media using one of the copy programs in W$ :-) Thanks for jumping in here. Very nice to write with you from time to time. Have a nice weekend. Erik.

You want to google around for the term "packet writing for linux" I'm not using it, and don't know if it is mature or not. Perhaps other would jump in with a more definitive answer. I did find this: http://packet-cd.sourceforge.net/ -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
