[SuSE Linux] Install SuSE5.3 on a laptop without Floppy Disk
Can I install SuSE on a loptop under following conditions: (1) without Floppy Disk, pcmcia CD-ROM or internal CD-ROM. (2) copy SuSE files from CD-ROM of desktop through a ethernet card to a DOS partition of laptop. Yes, this should work. If you have another Linux Box with a CD-ROM, you can also use is an a NFS Server and mount the CD via the Ethernet. If you are hardcore, you can even use PLIP over a parrel cable. This is pretty slow, though.
