[opensuse] Intermittent crash with gnucash 2.4.13 and opensuse 13.1
I am running gnucash 2.4.13, the version which comes from the opensuse repos. From time to time I get an intermittent crash. Most often it happens when I am generating a report, but sometimes it happens when I right click on a transaction. There is no definite pattern to why it crashes - it just shuts down. In order to troubleshoot, I wanted to run it from the command line. So I did, and when it crashed, the only thing it told me was this: george@tribaltrekker:~> gnucash gnc.bin-Message: main: binreloc relocation support was disabled at configure time. Found Finance::Quote version 1.18 java version "1.7.0_45" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.3) (suse-24.9.1-x86_64) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode) Segmentation fault george@tribaltrekker:~> Any suggestions? I am doing a zypper patch as I write this email, don't know if that will help. The only patch available is a security patch for openjdk. Apper has about 78 updates I can run, but I don't recognize any of those that will help with gnucash, though I admit I am not an expert. All of those updates seem like multimedia related items from pacman. -- George Olson Box #1: 13.1 | KDE 4.11 | AMD Phenom IIX4 | 64 | ATI Radeon HD 3300 | 16GB Box #2: 13.1 | KDE 4.11 | AMD Athlon X3 | 64 | nVidia C61 GeForce 7025 | 4GB Laptop: 13.1 | KDE 4.11 | Core i7-2620M | 64 | Intel HD Graphics 3000 | 8GB -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
