Hi, I want to change some kernel parameters on my system but don't seem to have a sem.h file, should I make changes to the semaphore.h header instead? I have shm.h file which should allow me to change some of the ones I want. 'm on SuSe 8.1 Thanks Mike

Which kernel source are you looking at? I have the source to linux-2.4.19.SuSE and that has a sem.h, just like the Marcelo 2.4.20 kernel I'm actually running. The SuSE kernel allows a lot more semaphores, but otherwise they're the same. -- "...our desktop is falling behind stability-wise and feature wise to KDE ...when I went to Mexico in December to the facility where we launched gnome, they had all switched to KDE3." - Miguel de Icaza, March 2003
