[opensuse] PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun
Hello, I downloaded and installed openSUSE 13.2 (4.7 GB DVD version). Installation went just fine, however I have a problem with booting. I tried using both GNOME and KDE enviroments, but that didn't solve anything. Everytime I launch it, it says [drm:cpt_set_fifo_underrun_reporting] *ERROR* uncleared pch fifo underrun on pch transcoder A [drm:cpt_serr_int_handler] *ERROR* PCH transcoder A FIFO underrun After that, login screen starts showing, but it takes very long (actually, I waited until login screen just once, most times I just rebooted PC after 2 or so minutes). When I got trough it once, speed went to normal, but I was getting a lot of artefacts (duplicated mouse cursors, hovered buttons lags...). After a little bit of googling, I found out that problem is between Kernel and Intel graphic cards (PC specification at end). So I would like to know, if there is some way to make operating system always use my nVidia card, or to somehow update kernel to a version that doesn't have this problem (if there is any). Or maybe there is some other solution for this problem. Thanks in advance.
