[S.u.S.E. Linux] Maxwell fonts
Hi all; I'm trying to get the DTP "Maxwell" working. I added the path to the Maxwell fonts to my X config file. But when I fired up X I got this error and, of course, Maxwell will not run. ______________________________________________________________________ Warning: 'fonts.dir' not found (or not valid) in "/usr/local/maxwell/fonts/Type1/". Entry deleted from font path. (Run 'mkfontdir' on "/usr/local/maxwell/fonts/Type1/"). (**) FontPath set to "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/" ___________________________________________________________ Looking over my X config file I just noticed that my Type1 fonts are pounded out, i.e. # FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/" So I looked in my files and I don't have any Type1 fonts. Where are they and how can I added them? I'm using S.u.S.E. 4.4.1 on an old 486/33.
