Hello I have installed apache with suse 7.0 and mod.php but when I try the = test page I only can see=20 <? phpinfo(); ?> I don't understand that cause module are in the httpd.conf It seems correct is someone can help me? many thanks
You should have some lines like AddType application/x-httpd-php .php3 AddType application/x-httpd=php .html about line 1070 of your /etc/httpd/httpd.conf file These define the file extensions that should be parsed by the PHP interpreter. I use PHP4 with only .php as a php extension. I suppose that the server runs faster if regular html files are not parsed. John D Lamb Patrick Silva wrote:

Probably, but from what I've heard there's not much of a performance hit parsing all files, and it definitely hasn't been a problem on my small implementation on a P133. Greg
