[opensuse] Lost desktop in opensuse-12.1?
Hello, I am running opensuse-12.1 with KDE. I accidentally pressed the left window key and (I think) the ALT key, and now I am left with an empty desktop with an empty panel/taskbar. I can see with "ps ax" that all my applications are still running, but I can't get to them. What happened? How can I get back my desktop? Any hints? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Josef, try fumbling around ;-) with "Activities", the three different coloured points in the taskbar. It worked for me most of the time... HTH Werner -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks, that was it. I use virtual desktops (switching with CTRL-Fx) for many years now, but I was not aware that there is another layer of desktops... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
