[opensuse] ACER 3820TG - Network card init very slow
Hello, I have setup SUSE 11.3 x86_64 on my laptop and everything seems fine except that when I plug a network cable into the laptop NIC port, the network takes about 5 minutes before it initializes and responds. It is annoying to wait for about 5-7 minutes for the network card to be available. Linux linux-1rbp.site 2.6.34.7-0.4-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2010-10-07 19:07:51 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Thanks, Sam. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Maybe DHCP is slow to respond? -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.1°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
