Postfix & virtual domain : help !
Hi all, I'm trying for weeks to set up a mailserver for our company, but I keep having problems. First : I planned to use Postfix, with Courier (and later on SpamAssassin, Amavis and SquirrelMail). Is this a good choice ? The mail for our domain (single one) is stored in a POP-mailbox by our ISP, and will be fetched with Fetchmail. This will hand the messages over to Postfix which has to store the mail for the different users (Win-based, none of them users on the Linux-box) in Maildir format. Courier will distribute the mail to the users, in POP or IMAP format. Second : my problem. I set up things like described in http://high5.net/howto/ (mainly) and http://www.marlow.dk/tech/postfix.php?noframe=yes But when I try to send a mail to user@domain.tld with KMail (on the box itself), the message stays in the outbox, and the logfile from Postfix says : .../smtpd[1273]: connect to subsystem private/proxymap: Connection refused .../smtpd[1273]: warning: connect #x to subsystem private/proxymap: Connection refused I put the logging verbosity up, and then, just before those messages, I got .../smtpd[1273]: maps_append: proxy:unix:passwd.byname Now I'm stuck. I don't know where to look further. Any logfiles to look into ? Does Courier need to be running in this fase ? Any hints are welcomed ! -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Koenraad Lelong R&D Manager ACE electronics n.v.
