I've felt a bit smacked around a bit regarding some of the rather mild flames and one rather inane response that left me wondering if that was the same mouth he French kissed his mother with (fair is fair, *HE* brought *MY* deceased by one year and two weeks mother into it)... I've also felt quite the ass once the story was shown to be BS... However, what I said *IS* my opinion. The bitch of it is that I also agree with the stolen oil argument, I just didn't want to confuse some political issues with military ones... GWB is a total idiot. Complete package. This, from one of his own party to boot. :/ First focus: Forget getting the people water in the summer 130-140 degree F heat, make sure the oil is flowing. We must endear the populace to us... The frigging phones over there *STILL* don't work worth a damn, though militarily it makes a great deal of sense... For our Whitehouse, all I can say is that the keystone cops are in command. I agree with moving in and removing the existing ruler of Iraq, not because of "proof of possession of WMD", but because of two reasons: One it was long overdue DUE to material breaches of the cease fire. Two: Though the people of Iraq don't DESERVE a better ruler (people deserve the ruler they tolerate), they SHOULD get a better offering as a matter of convince to the rest of the entire region as well as the world. Let's just hope that that new government takes better care of their PEOPLE instead of themselves or other governments due to perceived debts... Still, this is BEYOND OT here. We really SHOULD find a better venue for this as I rather feel bad about *MY* inflammatory (or is it onfamatoury) contribution to this thread. This *IS* a SuSE linux list. I also didn't get a response to one question in *MY* rather heated original response when asking about sparc releases... I can only say in my experiance the USA is still far and away the most sucessful nation in the history of the world; no other country even comes close.
