[SuSE Linux] wmakerconf RPM's
Hi -- I was excited to see SuSE 5.3 RPM's for wmakerconf... unfortunately, when I ran it, I got a "failed to open" error because it looked (incorrectly) for: //var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm instead of: /var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm Is there something I can do to change this? Or is this just incorrectly set up? Or what? Thanks for any help... ryan - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
Hello to everybody! ------------------- flos:/tmp/xfstt0910 # make c++ -g -Wall -pedantic -DMAGNIFY=0 -c xfstt.cpp -I/usr/X11R6/include/X11/fonts\ -I/usr/X11R6/include/ xfstt.cpp:38: X11/fonts/FS.h: No such file or directory xfstt.cpp:39: X11/fonts/FSproto.h: No such file or directory make: *** [xfstt.o] Error 1 flos:/tmp/xfstt0910 # ------------------- This is the output of my vain attempt to compile the xfstt (TrueType) font server. Did anyone have the same problem? Why are those files not in my X11/fonts directory, or rather why are they supposed to be there? Otherwise, could someone tell me if there is a another easy way to use TrueType fonts on S.u.S.E. (I want them for GIMP)? Thanks for your help. You have to have that if you want to compile X apps. -M
