[opensuse] help with fvwm

I have been running fvwm for so long that I forgot how I set it up. Where are a bunch of options in the menu that pops up from the lower left corner. But I am sorry to say that I do not know how to discover which option I am currently running under. I start fvwm2 from with my .xinitrc file. So I guess I am looking for some bland login that will not get in the way of fvwm when it starts. My current approach is to employ the fvwm button, and then execute fvwm from the window presented. I am frustrated by xosview not picking up the meter descriptions from .Xdefaults as happened in 42.3. Some things, such as placement and size are recognized, (I assume by fvwm), but not the graph descriptions which would be read by the xosview app itself. Sorry for probably dumb question. Solved my xosview problem. I checked my .Xdefaults against the xosview man page and found that many things that I had been using in 42.3 had been redefined. I don't know why it worked in 42.3 and not in Leap 15, but problem appears to be solved. If I ask for versions, both reply Git. Just for info.
