I've ran across this error twice. Once when I installed 0.47... rolled back to 0.46 and the problem went away. This was on my machine. The error you get is a known problem with 0.47... the consensus is to either use 0.46 or wait for 0.48 On my friend's machine I got the exact same error using 0.46. The only difference between my install and my friend's install was that he explicitly did not install Gnome, whereas I installed Gnome and KDE (full install). So, what version are you using? If 0.47, remove it and try 0.46. If you are already using 0.46 and still getting this error, I can't help... but if you do solve it I woudl definitely be interested in what you did to fix it. C.
