[opensuse] Autoyast Installation 10.2
I have tried on three different occasions to do an FTP installation using the autoinst file created from a base install image of openSUSE10.2. all three times it fails giving me an error that it cannot find the profile on my FTP server. I know that when I create a file, then load it into the autoinstallation module of Yast, put in my additional packages and change the root password I get that it is not a valid xml file. What is it about autoyast that is hosed that isn't allowing a auto created xml file fail the validity check in yast? -- CONFIDENTIALITY This e-mail message and any attachments thereto, is intended only for use by the addressee(s) named herein and may contain legally privileged and/or confidential information. Whilst not directly related please review Bug 325554 as I believe it is similar to what you want and has been 'delayed' until 11.0 Hope it helps Hylton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Not really what I was talking about. Sorry if I wasn't complete enough on my problem. I am installing openSUSE 10.2 at the end of the installation I clone the system for autoyast installations. When I open Yast>misc>installations, I attempt to load, change then save the autoinst.xml file under /root. Yast gives me the error that the file fails the validity test. I attempt to load this file as my installation source and it fails again, warning that it is not a valid installation set. Has anyone seen this?
