I find that whenever I start a new system, either my existing .emacs gets overwritten with the .gnu-emacs file, or a .gnu-emacs file is added. But my the emacs application ignores my .emacs file, I assume using the .gtk-emacs instead. I also found some form of .gtk-emacs files (I deleted them so do not have an accurate file name) that were also introduced. Where do these files come from, who does it and how can I turn this off. I do not need all this help and do not want my home directory messed with. Don -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
