I have a question that I am sure if for lack of education. I have a "source" rpm package that I need to modify (i.e. change some of the "c" programs). How can I make changes to the source (I know, use the editor but keep reading) and still make sure that my "rpm" is valid? How can I then generate a binary RPM ready for distribution? can I use yast for this purpose? or is it some rpm commands?
