[opensuse] ipod takes over my bus
Hopefully someone can explain how I "reset" what ever needs reset to fix my USB connections. When I plug the drive into my USB socket, turn it on and as soon as you try to access it, it throws an Error saying something like.... Cannot mount /mnt/ipod \ Same with my vidcamera. Both devices worked fine until recently. My grandson asked me to reformat his iPod on my Linux box b/c it would not read on his Windows machine anymore. Did that and he got it working again then I guess, hasn't complained anymore about it, but now everything I plug into the USB is ID'd as a iPod. How do I fix this? Thanks!
