elm? I'm not a big threading fan, but I've been happy with pine for years. Now though I use Mozilla almost exclusively. Either in imap or pop3 mode - depending on which machine I'm on. -- John LeMay KC2KTH Senior Enterprise Consultant NJMC | http://www.njmc.com | Phone 732-557-4848 Specializing in Microsoft and Unix based solutions

I would suggest the samething that the elm site does. Change to Mutt because elm is no longer in development. Mutt has an "addressbook" or address file..whatever you want to call it. You have to specify it in your .muttrc but it is quite capable of recording the email address of someone who sends you email. :) The line you would have in your .muttrc is this... set alias_file=~/.address-book Mine is called .address-book so you can call it what you like. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. I'll tell you what you should see.
