Anyone tracking the drop in list volume since list address changed?
More a curiosity, but... Does openSUSE keep any type of statistics on list use? And if so, has there been a notable drop across the lists after the renaming of all list addresses? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

You have a small graph here: <https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/users@lists.opensuse.org/> I don't know how to compare graphs of other months. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)

Thank you Carlos, I do recall seeing that when we were directed to that page. But once I saw the 1+ inch tall list... I quickly fled :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

I believe the old address still redirects to the new one so I wouldn't expect to see a significant difference yet. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B

Fuck the list admins for opensuse. That makes sense. The reason I asked, is I know what a pain it was to go reconfigure filters, etc.. to handle the change, so I was curious if that type interruption would have any measurable impact. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

With mlmmj, it was fairly easy to extract some statistics from the archives, but I have yet to familiarise myself with mailman3 to be able to do that. The logs might help, but we only keep those for 30 days. I don't think the change of address will have had any noticeable effect - the old list addresses are redirected, so even if people have ignored the change, it would still work. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (0.7°C)
