Hi all... I've got the 5 disk 9.2 version of SuSE. I tried to install Scribus but YAST could not find it. I though that it was on the disks. Did anyone else have this problem? What do I do? As many people have pointed out on this list with 9.2 there are many packages that are on the DVD but -not- on the CD's. Perhaps this is another one. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989 SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please*

I think that's one of the packages only on the DVD

ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.2-i386/RPMS.kde has scribus rpms for 9.2 (3 rpms there).

Even though it was on the DVD, Yast did not find it when I used the search feature. I had to browse in Konqueror, and then r-click --> install via Yast. Had to do that with several packages. Out of curiosity, did you install from the CDs or from the DVD? If you installed from the CDs, if you go to YaST's Change installation source, remove the CD source and add the DVD as the source, does the search work then?
