The problem with that idea is I tried to boot from the DVD which was used to install the current OS and it would not boot. I just now tried using the DVD on a Windows PC and it does boot so there is nothing wrong with the DVD. I may have to try using a new CD/DVD device in my system. Thanks for considering my problem.
