Does anyone know if USB 2.0 works with Suse 8.0? I've tried usbview and it doesn't show up. Is there something I need to do? Thanks! Eric
In /etc/sysconfig/kernel I have this line: "reiserfs usbcore usb-uhci" You may not have the reiserfs, but I had to add the other two modes to get it to work. As far as I know, USB 2.0 is only in the 2.5 development kernels, although I have read there's a backport to the 2.4 series. Of course this requires patching the kernel. I hoping SuSE will offer a prepatched kernel or that it will show up in 8.1. Don
