That is a very sad list. I can't believe how big it is. Basically it says to me that if you are serious about SUSE, you need to exclusivly use the DVD version. Again, I think that is pretty poor. Greg

Hummmm, just how I felt when they started putting the distros on cd's instead of floppy disks. Of course, used to download on a 56k modem. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos

I think it's a kind of cup-half-full / cup-half-empty thing. First of all, those are the packages that aren't on *five* CDs. What other distro installs from five CDs? Second, you gotta believe they had a tough time deciding what goes on CDs and what goes on DVD only. DVDs are becoming common on PCs now, just as CDs once did. -- ================================================================= Glenn Holmer (Linux registered user #16682) ----------------------------------------------------------------- The one sticking point between us and the open-source community is that we actually think that compatibility matters. ----------------------------------------------------------------- -James Gosling, creator of Java =================================================================
