I have finally managed to install suse 9.1pro...The upgrade path I could not manage...I am now trying to setup my s.card and printer..Yast tells me there is no printer connected and it also tells me there is no driver for the s/blaster card....I have thecard and printer running ok in Debian and slackware...and Fedora picked up both ok...I would have expected a top quality produce like suse should easily pick up common hardware ...Even XP did it !! -- Regards Ted Wager Using Debian Linux

Ted, Get the online updates first. Boot into KDE, start Control Center, set your sound card. My SB didn't want to setup after the install, but updating and setting from the CC all was fine! Still cannot install soundfonts, but the sound card works nicely. Any resolutions on the soundfonts problem?
