Kernel 2.2.16 Etherexpress PRO 10 TX failure

Nothing special noted in logfile. Works okay with 2.2.10. Anyone come accross this? Any thoughts on what direction to take? Already changed NIC (non PNP) and MB. Cheers, Bob
