Use fdisk to remove the linux partitions. You should then be able to do a clean install of Win98 on the HD. It will format the disk for fat32 for you. M

You may need use the DOS command "fdisk -mbr" (you have to get this info in a linux manual since MS doesn't document this feature) to kill off lilo so windows can boot. after that, you can use M$'s version of fdisk and format to get the thing to work -- no problem. Later, Matt.
