I can't help you there I'm afraid. I don't own a multifunction machine myself, but would like to buy one and have used www.linuxprinting.org to find out which to buy.... I'm decided on a Epson Stylus CX6400 - it's apparently has good Linux compatibility and has seperate inkcatridges. Now I only have to find the money ;-> /Christian Bjørnbak Pasquale Castrÿffffec wrote:
I have already tested www.linuxprinting.org (and www.sane-project.org and others), but I had no results for MP730. However I found a compatible printer for MP730 (this is "Canon BJC-7000"). My problem is to find a compatible scanner and... the very big problem is that: with YaST2, when I go to the list of scanners for select this manually, this list is empty! For this I don't found a compatible scanner. Whi this list is empty?

But if I remember right your in bad luck - I don't think Canon MP730 is supported very well...
