I've tryed newest drivers from ati, but i'm not so sure that i am doing
Go to SuSE's website, and get their fglrx downloads. You can find it under their Xfree area. Follow their directions in the readme. It worked for me!
Mike

rpm -Uhv <package_name>.rpm

Not sure what to say. I used it on my 8500 and it worked. Followed their instructions to the letter. What are you trying to use to test the 3D? [...] ************ Markku, If you are using the ATI drivers, the no 3d warning is normal, but does not mean it won't work. Before the ATI module was included in the kernel, I use the ATI driver with complete success, but got that warning when starting a 3d program. Since my 9200 is supported natively now, I don't have to deal with it. Most all, if not all of the 9xxx ATI cards should be supported and work fine, without going to additional trouble. But should you install the ATI drivers from their site or SuSE's, you cannot use sax2 or the normal setup items as that will just kill everything you tried to do.
