I'd like to set my system up so that I don't need to run xhost localhost When I'm su'ing in a term. The xhost man page mentions a file called /etc/X*.hosts but doesn't go into any detail about how to use it. Could anyone enlighten me? Thanks, David A. Riggs

You may just use sux instead of su. No need to add localhost. HTH, -Kastus
