Nah.. Connected to ftp.suse.com. We aren't accepting new connections right now or there are too many connections from your IP address. Please use a mirror: http://www.suse.de/en/support/download/ftp/int_mirrors.html. Here comes that X-Files paranoia again. I got there twice and the third time was rejected. Is it just remotely possible that the message indicating "aren't accepting" may be due to load? After all, the SuSE distro's _are_ extremely popular. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos

My nightly rsync mirror jobs have been remotely disconnected for the last couple of days, as well, which is generally indicitive of bandwidth problems. They're probably just experienceing higher-than-normal load, possibly due to some DDOS (either intentional or not). :) --Danny, who really likes having a local mirror

I think it started after the 3GB< DVD with the 9.2 got published; and that could be an indirect way to "help" people to find the nearest mirrors. But I like your wording as "intentional DDoS". ;) Pelibali
