RE: KDE menu editor weirdness in 9.1
Hi experts, I'm facing weird KDE menu behavior after adding few items to it, specifically adding mplayer to 'Multimedia', this menu is still visible from KDE but none of the apps in there would start anymore. When I go back to menu editor 'Multimedia' is empty which explains why no apps would start. Anyone can suggest how to add new item to the menu without losing original ones? I found updating kde corrected the menu editor problems.

Which package(s) did you update and what were the before (failing) and after (working) version numbers? Randall Schulz

I updated the entire kde. I don't recall the version and I've now got 9.2 on that computer.

May I ask you what kind of update have you performed? I did lately Yast online update but it did not help. Thx, Martin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Send a seasonal email greeting and help others. Do good. http://celebrity.mail.yahoo.com

I went to the SuSE site, and downloaded a later verion of KDE, which is not available through Yast.

Is it just one file or did you download all kde related files from ftp.suse.com. Could you provide a link where di you get it? Thx, Martin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Send a seasonal email greeting and help others. Do good. http://celebrity.mail.yahoo.com
