Should do, although I haven't used it for a while. Have you tried running your script to see if it still complains about DB?

Yep. Ran the script and the DB error had gone. But it had gone both before and after I had run the pear install stuff. Can I assume that the SuSE pear is all ready to go and I don't have to do any of the pear install stuff? I don't want to waste time on looking at sql permissions yet until I can be sure that pear is installed and working correctly. Cheers, Steve.
