I'm thinking about getting the DVD version of the 6.3 distro, but I'm not sure about Linux being able to read the DVD drive. Not personally, but there shouldn't be any problem, as I believe it is recognised as a normal CD drive. I believe there was a thread about DVD's a while back on this list. You might do a search for it. If memory serves right, I think there was no problem reading regular CD's, but they it wouldn't read the DVD disks. I don't remember if this was solved or not.
