-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hello In near future (~2 weeks), we would like to replace SLE-12 and SLE-12- SP build targets/repositories in Application:Geo [1] with openSUSE:Backports:SLE-12 and openSUSE:Backports:SLE-12-SP1 [2]. This has some advantages - common build dependencies shared with other projects, which are not present in SLE can be placed in one common project (openSUSE:Backports) so that: * we can avoid package conflicts  * have some additional review/increased quality with reduced effort  * reduce need of project maintainers to check which package is linked where and if its still needed. What does it mean for you if you are using Application:Geo and: * are using Tumleweed or Leap - nothing changes at all * are using SLE-12* - you will have to replace Application:Geo/SLE_12 with Application:Geo/SLE_12_Backports or Application:Geo/SLE_12_SP1 with Application:Geo/SLE_12_SP1_Backports and add corresponding backports repository. We are also preparing to push gdal and its dependencies to openSUSE:Backports project. Apart from this, SLE-11-SP4 repo/build target is also going to be  removed as most packages were failing to build anyway. 13.1 will stay until end of community support for Evergreen (November 2016).
