[opensuse] Can someone on factory tell me which version of rdiff-backup it has?
All, I just upgraded one of my servers to 11.1 and rdiff-backup for that release is about 5 point releases behind. v.1.2.1 vs. 1.2.6 And there are a lot of fixes between those: http://www.nongnu.org/rdiff-backup/CHANGELOG-stable If a newer version is in a factory depo, I'd like to grab it. FYI: I looked on the build service and did not see it. Reasonable, since it is just a bunch of perl scripts iirc. Seems like Factory stayed with 1.2.1

I think a bugreport would help ;) -- Best regards / s pozdravem Petr Uzel, Packages maintainer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: puzel@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 964 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You're right, but a lot of users do not want to install packages from others home:* projects. -- Best regards / s pozdravem Petr Uzel, Packages maintainer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: puzel@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 964 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You're right too, but I'm saying that if he wants a bug fixed/newer version he could try there if he wants to... I never install from home projects, but others do... Anyways, then the one from the stable repo is still 1.2.1...
