VMWare was working fine yesterday. Today I try to launch it, and get this error: ----------------- VMware Express must be set-UID root, "vmware" is not Are you running vmware from its distribution directory? That copy of the program is not set-UID root. ----------------- To the best of my knowledge I didn't change anything that should affect this. I removed (using YAST) a bunch of the games I installed form the SuSE disks when I installed 7.3. I compiled/installed LBreakout2 yesterday... that's it. Everything I was playing with was in /usr/local/share/games (playing with permissions etc.). Any ideas what would produce this error? C. -- This is Linux country.
