[opensuse] Software updater Suse 10.1 still shows update available after update has been performed.
The updater showed an update for Audacity this weekend. I performed the update using the Yast GUI, so I could see more details. Afterward the icon didn't change as it usually does, so I re-booted to see if it would correct. It didn't. I've seen references to similar behavior in 10.3, but not for 10.1. Have I overlooked something? -ED- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

First verify that YaST really did perform the update Then try running "rug refresh" as root Anders -- Madness takes its toll -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for the quick reply, Anders: The app is Audacity. Installed version is listed as 1.3.4-2.pm.beta-x86_64, the latest version available, as far as I know. I can also tell it has a new info window at startup. I ran "rug refresh", but the "update(s) available" is still hanging in there. The last time I had a problem, I think it was cured by rebuilding the zmd data base. But it wasn't the same problem, and I seem to have misplaced the command I used. -ED- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
