Hi, I am trying to set up a DSL link with SuSE 9.3. I need to specify a "service name" but I have no idea how to do that with the setup (smpppd and cinternet resp. kinternet) I use. The provider is data.bg, a Bulgarian provider. Any ideas? A more detailed description of the problem has already been given on another mailing list: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2005-May/0078.html Under Windows XP the same hardware setup works, user name and password are correct. Thanks for your help! Guido -- Imperia AG, Development Leyboldstr. 10 - D-50354 Hürth - http://www.imperia.net/

Hi, Guido. Yes, I have found the solution. You must add options in /etc/ppp/peers/pppoe : rp_pppoe_service your_service_name rp_pppoe_ac your_accelerator_name -- Imperia AG, Development Leyboldstr. 10 - D-50354 Hürth - http://www.imperia.net/
