[opensuse] Problems with Device Notifier - opensuse 12.3

Just wondering if anyone else has found that when you put a video DVD in their drive it does not come up with the related DVD options. Things like Rip Video DVD or Play DVD with Kaffeine etc do not appear while Open with File Manager and a couple other things associated with data discs do. All DVD device actions are listed in the Device Notifier Settings. They just don't appear when a video DVD is inserted. Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? Or is this just a idiosyncrasy of my system? Thanks Eddie -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I put a video DVD in my openSUSE 12.3 system and the "Open with Videos" option raises from the notification bar [GNOME Shell]. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks, I wonder if it is only a problem with KDE then. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I get the same as you, Eddie. Using openSUSE 12.3 and KDE 4.10. It sounds as if it's a KDE problem, as it's working for Adam using Gnome. Well I'm glad to know that it is not just me or my system. Perhaps someone should report this as a bug. I thought that I would do so but the KDE bug system is beyond my little brain to comprehend. So if it irritates anyone else, perhaps that can report it. Thanks Eddie -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
