this particular machine is running 6.3 with the kernal compiled to handle fbdev... but I have tried running it on an smp machine running 6.4 and also on a single processor machine with the same results... I have already tries the IBM howto's which offer no help at all... Surjit

Too bad - I have never tested Visual Age. And I am afraid, I do not have the time to test this right now :(
