Is this a problem with the kernel, the rpm, something else? Is it sufficient to report the problem here and will Gerd Knorr be informed about it. Or should he be notified personnally?
I don't read the suse-linux-e list, so better drop me a note directly. But you can stop mail-bombing me on *that* issue now. I know the rpms are broken (one of the ia64 patches seems to be bad) and will try to upload new ones ASAP.
Gerd provided a new kernel-2.6.1 rpm, which is working. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

Yes, it works now fine. Only one thing - glxgears test says that: Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0". How can I get this working again? (i810 graphics) ain

I'd the same problem, I solved it by compiling agpgart and drm in the kernel. and Direct Rendering is then enabled.
