Hi, for a long time I've been using Postgresql under Linux and Cygwin+Windows. I think it's time to check other alternatives, but the pletora of available dd.bb. is scaring (Oracle, SyBase, DB2, Firebird, ¿...?) and it could take months to test them individually while I just have some free hours :( . I', searching for some database easy to administer (graphical performance diagnostics about indexes, bottlenecks), cluster enabled, with hot-backup tools, good transaction performance, good loogings, ... Any experience will be apreciated!. P.S.: Obiosly price is an important point, but not a definitive one! Running both on Linux and Windows will be an advantage (my company still runs NT4 servers, and I think they will continue to run for many years).
